Khufu was born in c. 2600 b.c. King Khufu was a king in the
fourth dynasty. King Khufu's pyramid is called ''The Great Pyramid'' the pyramid
is one of the seven wonders of the world. He ruled for 23 years. Khufu's real
name was Khnum-Khufy which means ''The God Khnum protects me'', Khufu was
his nickname. Khufu wanted his son Kawab to rule after him but Kawab died
during his father's reign. Khufu's greatest acommplishment was the building
of the pyramid Giza .Khufu kept and maintained a strong army in case of an
attack. Supposedly King Khufu put one of his daughters in charge of making
money for the building of his pyramid .King Khufu died in 2566 b.c. at the
age of 44. His pyramid Giza is 481 feet high and 755 feet wide. Two
memorials of King Khufu are his pyramid and a boat.
