King Tut was crowned king of Egypt at the age of around 9. He was
married to his older half-sister Akensenamun who was around the age of
11. Since the young pharaoh was only a boy he had to be taught what to
do and how to protect Egypt. His general of the army was Horemheb and
his job was to teach Tut how to lead his army into battle. His treasurer
was Maya and he was taking care of all of Egypts finances. King
Tut had Spine bifida and scoliosis which caused him to not turn his neck
independently so in order to turn he had to move his whole upper body.
When he was first crowned king he traveled from Thebes to Amun which was
the capital before Tut's father ruled. King Tut was murdered by his grandfather
Ay. He was murdered in his sleep and was killed by a blow to the head. Tut
had a stone pillow and that is how his grandfather bashed his head. King
Tut died around the age of nineteen.
